“My partner and I stay regularly at Glascoed with our two dogs and have fallen in love with Ceredigion as a result. It is so refreshing to have somewhere to stay where dogs are not only approved of but actively encouraged! For us a holiday means a holiday for the dogs as well. Ty Glyn itself is beautiful – a quiet rural idyll that makes for a welcome change from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. As soon as we arrive I take the dogs to stretch their legs in the beautiful woodland walk just up from the holiday cottages. And then we tend to head straight for the coast! The area is very dog friendly – dogs are welcome in many of the pubs and even on the local bus services. And most of the beaches too are dog friendly – even in high season – it is always a joy to watch the dogs making friends and playing on the beach. For a book worm like myself the chalet is very welcoming to return to in the evening as it boasts as impressive library. There is always a good book to curl up with after a day of exploring the coastal paths. And the dogs too can sprawl on the sofas after their day of shenanigans as throws are provided for the purpose – so everyone is happy! A thoroughly restorative and refreshing get away for all!”
